Medior developer: You carry out complex client work,from request to launch

What you will do

One week you make O'Neill's webshop faster. The next week you build a connection to a stock system. And in between you call a client to check that you understand the question.

For clients

You carry out complex client work independently, from request to launch, and talk to the client about it yourself. A senior leads large projects; you build parts of them independently.

• Webshops. You build new features and improvements for Shopify webshops.
• Websites and web apps. You build them in Astro and connect them to other systems.
• Client contact. You discuss technical questions directly with the client, by email, WhatsApp or in a call.
• Launch. You test your own work, put it live and check that everything works.

Internal projects

In between client work, you help build Fulldev itself.

• Our own apps. You build parts of our apps, such as Fulldev Sites and Fulldev Scan.
• Our AI setup. When you run into something, you improve how we build, for yourself and for the team.

Who you are

To us, medior is not about how many years you have been programming. It means you finish complex client work independently and talk to the client about it yourself. Leading a large project is not expected yet.

• You are curious, take initiative and finish what you start.
• You work independently, but not alone: when you get stuck, you ask your team. Asking good questions is part of the job.
• You work professionally with TypeScript or JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Git.
• You build with AI every day and know where it is strong and where it makes mistakes.
• You speak and write Dutch and English well, and work at our office in Groningen one to three days a week. Culture is built at the same table.

What you work with

Among others Astro, Shopify, Claude and Codex. This is what we build with today; tomorrow that may be different. If you already know them, that is a nice bonus.

At Fulldev, AI does not write snippets of code; it works out complete projects. What used to take months of development, we now sometimes do in a single prompt, with ten or more agents at once. Code is getting cheaper. Thinking is getting more valuable. You are the builder who directs the agents and decides what goes live. That means you know how the architecture fits together.
